Asian Cup 2011: How Does Bhaichung Bhutia Compare To Sachin Tendulkar?

Indian national team coach Bob Houghton gave his opinion on being asked to compare the football and cricket icons of country ahead of the second match against Bahrain.

“Not many know that the best cricketer in the world is from India. Tendulkar is a fine role model and person. Bhaichung has a great influence of his team-mates. Can you compare him with Tendulkar? That comparison goes over the head, but that comparison is much different if someone does not know cricket. “Yes, he does make a difference on the team but not comparable as Tendulkar,” said Houghton.
Guess by Houghton’s statement it does portray that football is lacking behind when you compare its stars.
