England's World Cup campaign stuttered as it lost by two wickets to co-hosts Bangladesh in Chittagong in a Group B match on Friday.
Batting first England posted 225 with only Jonathan Trott (67) and Eoin Morgan (63) making key contributions.
In Bangladesh's chase, Imrul Kayes (60) batted well, before running himself out to start a collapse. Ajmal Shahzad (three for 43) was the best bowler on view for England.
After reducing Bangladesh to 169-8, England looked on course for a win, before Shafiul Islam (24) and Mohammad Mahmudullah (21) put on a match-winning stand of 58 for the ninth wicket.
After tieing with India, losing to Ireland and beating South Africa, this latest defeat leaves England with a shot at the quarter-final only if it beats West Indies in the final league match.
